RE/MAX excelled in RISMedia's 2010 Power Broker Report, which ranks the top 300 U.S. brokerages. RE/MAX placed the most brokerages on the list, while RE/MAX Associates within those brokerages closed 203,392 transaction sides in 2009, an average of 15.1 each.

RE/MAX CEO Margaret Kelly was named in January 2010 to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City-Denver Branch. The Denver Post reported that she “will provide the board with real-time housing information and advice on economic policies.”
